Nitrogen CycleThe nitrogen cycle is the cycle that shows how nitrogen is moved around in the environment. Nitrogen is important because it is used to make DNA, RNA, and proteins. Nitrogen is plentiful in the atmosphere, but plants and animals can't be use it in that form. The nitrogen goes through nitrogen fixation to become usable. The nitrogen cycle is like the phosphorus and carbon cycle because they both show how important substances are moved around in the environment.
