DecomposerDecomposers are organisms that cause decay and release nutrients back into the feeds on and breaks down dead plant or animal matter, making organic nutrients available to the ecosystem. Bacteria and fungi are examples of decomposers. They are the great "recyclers" of the world. Without them, there wouldn't be nutrients available in the ecosystem. Decomposers connects to ecosystem because they release nutrients into the ecosystem.
